This six-week program is designed for graduates of our Basic Manners course or dogs with equivalent foundational training. Held on weekend mornings at our Wag ‘n Wash location in Vienna, this course focuses on refining obedience skills, strengthening handler-dog communication, and preparing teams for the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test.
Each one-hour session emphasizes real-world reliability through exercises in loose-leash walking, polite greetings, supervised separation, and calm behavior around distractions. Our certified instructors provide individualized coaching to help your dog master the 10 CGC test items and become a model canine citizen.
At the end of the course, dogs are eligible to take the official CGC test on-site with one of our AKC-approved evaluators.
